The car we use
The car used for instruction is an Audi A3 1.4 TFSi. Why an Audi? Well, this car is actually much easier to drive than most other driving-instructor cars for several reasons:
- The design means there's less chance of stalling, so you're more confident in busy traffic.
- It has a small turning circle, making the test manoeuvres much easier.
- The simple engine layout really helps with the "Show Me, Tell Me" element of the test.
The car has power steering, electric windows and ABS, as well as industry-standard dual controls. The leather upholstery adds to the comfort and, being an Audi, it has all the safety features you would expect from a quality car. You will totally love driving this car!
